Since the transfer portal opened up on March 18th, over 50 players are set to depart from the West Coast Conference. So far, over 20 players have transferred into the league from outside schools. Remember that the conference is also going to look completely different with two new programs joining in 2024-2025.
Oregon State has been completely gutted as a program with 4 of their 5 starters transferring out. Washington State has hired David Riley who brought over a haul of his players from Eastern Washington.
Stan Johnson of LMU asked Lorenzo Romar from Pepperdine to join his coaching staff after getting fired and has done another marvelous job on the recruiting front. Saint Mary’s got hit hard by the portal with the departure of some key pieces from last season’s championship squad.
