Florida State joins unwanted list after Boston College loss

No. 10 Florida State was hoping to right the ship after a humbling last-second loss to Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland last week.

The 24-21 defeat was an early obstacle in the Seminoles’ quest to avenge their omission from the 2023 College Football Playoff.

Monday night, Boston College — who won a grand total of three ACC games last year — virtually ended Florida State’s hopes of making the 2024 expanded playoff, given a one percent chance to run the table by ESPN.
