WoW War Within: Burning Reflections Quest Guide

The “Burning Reflections” quest in World of Warcraft War Within is probably one of the easiest quests in The Priory storyline, as there is very little for you to do in this quest. Most of this quest is just dialogue, with the overall quest length being quite short.

That said, it is still a quest you must complete to progress The Priory Storyline. We will be looking at exactly what you must do to complete this quest. Alongside that, we will also be looking at where you need to go and who you need to interact with to start this quest.

There are also some major spoilers for The Priory storyline in this guide, so tread carefully if you haven’t completed the quests that come before the “Burning Reflections” quest.

Burning Reflections Quest Guide

You can start the Burning Reflections quest through Sister Etna Blayze in the Priory of the Sacred Flame. This quest will become available to you after Theleon has passed away. The image above shows the exact location where Sister Etna Blayze can be found.

After accepting the quest, the first thing that you will need to do will be to go and talk to Baron Sybaestan Braunpike. He can be found very close to where you accept the quest. The game will also provide you with a marker to help you get to him.

When you find him, he will be grieving the loss of his recently lost brother Theleon. You will be presented with a bunch of dialogue options to choose from when you interact with him. All of the dialogue options here are some sort of condolences. Any option you choose here is fine, as all of them will progress the quest.

Burning Memories

After you offer your condolences to Sybaestan, he will start remembering memories related to Theleon. You don’t need to do anything here other than listen to him. After each memory, a golden note representing the memory will appear in front of Sybaestan. When this note appears, you will need to click on it, and doing this will burn the memory. Burning written memories is a customary way for Sybaestan and his people to mourn their dead.

There are a total of 3 memories that you will need to burn for this quest. So you will need to click on 3 separate golden notes while Sybaestan is remembering his late brother. After burning the third written memory, Sybaestan will tell you that he needs to be alone for a while and walk away. You can then end the quest by going to Sister Etna Blayze and talking to her.

Completing this quest will reward you with 23 Gold Coins, 40 Silver Coins, and 11450 XP. You will also be able to start the next quest in The Priory storyline after you’ve finished the “Burning Reflections” quest.
