WoW: Fog Follower Quest Guide | The War Within

“Fog Follower” is one of the quests that is found in The Ringing Deeps region of The War Within expansion of WoW.

Your task in this quest will be to assist Noli Marlen in finding the source of the recent fog beast appearances. You will eventually end up in their nest but what happens afterwards is quite surprising to say the least. This guide will provide you with a short walkthrough of the quest.

Guide on the Fog Follower Quest

This quest is given by Noli Marlen who will be meditating on top of a rock near Taelloch in The Ringing Deeps. Her location is marked in the image below and the coordinates are 58.48 62.38.

Once you accept the quest, she will give you the fog tracer. A button for using the fog tracer will appear on your screen. Click on the button to reveal a fog trail which you need to follow. Keep pressing the fog tracer button as you are following the trail.

The trail will lead you to the location shown below. The coordinates of this location are 45.35 62.73. From here on now, get on your mount and simply follow Noli as she makes her way towards the fog beast nest.

Taking a Photo

In a few moments, you will be able to arrive at the nest. If you got lost while following Noli then here are the coordinates 41.82 61.94. Once you do get there, Noli will ask you to take a photo of the fog beasts. Interact with the camera to do it.

After using the camera, you will find out that Noli forgot to turn off the camera’s flash. The flash will stun you and enrage the fog beasts. But despite getting their privacy invaded, the fog beasts will not harm you and instead teleport you outside. It seems like the fog beasts are not as bad as people thought they were.

After getting teleported outside, head to the area marked below near Taelloch to turn in the quest. The coordinates are 59.30 64.00. Talk to Noli Marlen to finish the quest. This will also unlock the “Into the Fog” achievement.
