The Big 12 is a men’s basketball powerhouse, with Kansas and Baylor winning the national title in two of the past four seasons. In late April, ESPN reported ASU secured the commitment of five-star center Jayden Quaintance, a McDonald’s All-American who originally signed with Kentucky. He reopened his recruitment following the departure of longtime Kentucky head coach John Calipari to Arkansas.
