Potential must-plays from Giants-Bengals game

The Giants have been a “bend-but-don’t-break” defense this season for the most part but that has been largely due to their young secondary getting acclimated to one another and first-year coordinator Shane Bowen’s system.

The defense is getting healthy and starting to gel. They have only allowed one 100-yard rusher (Washington’s Brian Robinson Jr.) this season and no receiver has had over 100 receiving yards in a game.

They lead the league in sacks (22) and are in the top 7 in yards and points allowed per game the past three weeks.

The special teams, also under a new coordinator this year (Michael Ghobrial), are beginning to make statement plays as displayed last week when they returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown.
