With Halloween 2024 now behind us, we have compiled a list of the very best (and worst) costumes that the mixed martial arts world had to offer.
For some, Halloween is a time for family to get together and make memories but we don’t care about all of that. We want to see memorable costumes, whether to praise their efforts or question what they were thinking by putting it on in the first place.
We start with former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor. A mix-and-match effort alongside his family, McGregor opted to camouflage himself as a soldier.
Next up, we have what would be one of the most frightening sights in the Star Wars universe. Goerges St-Pierre wielding the hazardous red lightsaber of the Sith.
Marlon Vera, Paige Vanzant, Austin Vanderford, Kayla Harrison, and (Bat)Amanda Nunes put on great displays to celebrate the occasion.
Now, on to some ridiculously funny costumes. Starting with former UFC veteran and current PFL star Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
One funny costume — though it had the potential to be up there with the best if executed correctly — was Dominick Cruz‘s attempt at being a Luchador.
Not quite a Halloween costume but Paulo Costa using Secret Juice as a play on words to somewhat dress up as Beetlejuice perfectly fits the ‘ridiculous’ mold.

While both of his makeovers look solid, it’s quite amusing that Aljamain Sterling had two completely separate outfits over the Halloween period.
Competing with the elite for the best Joker costume in combat sports just days before the celebration, Sterling arguably had a less impressive look on the actual date of Halloween.
Halloween is always a fun time in the MMA community and we feel we picked out the very best and most ridiculous outfits on offer this year.
Here’s hoping 2025 has much more to offer when the spooky holiday comes around once again.
