MLB.TV free for college students for rest of 2024 season

Schools are back in session, and there is no better way to spend time between classes than watching baseball. Now, college students can watch MLB.TV free for the remainder of the 2024 season.

Starting today, MLB.TV will be free for all eligible college students who authenticate their student credentials (no credit card required to watch). The offer will be available until the regular season ends Sept. 29. Students can obtain their free subscription here.

There is no shortage of entertaining playoff races to follow right now. Which team will capture the AL Central? How will the AL and NL Wild Card races play out during the season’s stretch run?

With this special Back to School promotion, eligible college students can follow everything around the Majors for free.

Subscribers also get access to a number of unique features, including live streams of Minor League games — contests from all 60 Triple-A and Double-A affiliates are included. So is access to MLB Big Inning, a nightly program that lets fans stay updated on big moments with live look-ins and highlights from games across the country. An MLB.TV subscription also includes local pregame and postgame coverage for select teams.

Users can watch up to four games at once on supported devices with the new Multiview feature on supported Apple TV, Fire TV and Google TV devices. Additionally, the expanding MLB.TV content library includes episodes of original programs like “Carded” and “Inside Stitch,” documentaries and more — all available on demand.
