A brief store listing for Minecraft appeared on Steam yesterday, giving false hope to fans eager for the title to hit Valve’s platform.
This Minecraft Player Is Including Fine Details From Eren’s House In The Impressive Shiganshina Project
Twitch streamer “stan616” recently hosted a grueling 26-hour stream titled “The Grand Finale”, as the Minecraft player promised to keep streaming until the Attack on Titan district, Shiganshina, was completely built in the sandbox. Alongside the Twitch streams, the user has also been sharing clips on TikTok to highlight the incredible details being included to bring the town to life.
Fans of the manga and anime, created by Hajime Isayama, will know the intricate layout of the town located on the south edge of Wall Maria and it’s the hometown of lead characters Eren Yeager, Armin Arlert, and Mikasa Ackerman. Inspired by the German town of Nördlingen, Shiganshina boasts a labyrinth of medieval-styled buildings surrounded by a large wall to keep the hungry titans away from the population.
If Attack on Titan fans thought the streamer’s attention to detail in recreating the town layout was impressive, they’ll be stunned to find out the replica doesn’t stop there. In a recent clip shared to TikTok, the Minecraft player had begun filling the contents of Eren’s house right down to the specific lanterns used indoors and even the inclusion of Mikasa’s iconic red scarf hanging over the back of a chair.
Fans of the streamer’s project were quick to discuss the mod being used in Minecraft to achieve this build, noting that it was Axiom. This specific mod is an “all-in-one tool” with an expansive toolset, real-time previews, and client-side rendering to make the impossible possible.
If you want to follow stan616’s progress on the Shiganshina project, head over to Twitch and show your support.
