‘It’s A Blessing’: Paige Bueckers Confidently Faces Challenges Ahead Of 2024-25 UConn Seasoon

Paige Bueckers has stepped up to be one of the faces of women’s college basketball following Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s move to the WNBA. Entering the 2024-25 season, the UConn guard has become the biggest name in WNCAA.

There is an undeniable challenge in playing under pressure at UConn, but Bueckers is confidently welcoming it. In an interview with WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo on Wednesday, the 23-year-old even calls it a blessing and a privilege.

“It’s a blessing. I never wanted to take it for granted,” Bueckers said. “Obviously, it can end up being pressure, it can end up being this weight you carry, but I feel like pressure is a privilege and it’s a blessing to be able to be in that position.”
