Iowa State is on pace for the best season in school history

Starting the season with a 7-0 record, Iowa State is on brink of school history, aiming for its first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoff. 

With the playoff format expanding to 12 teams, its chances of making the bracket have never been better.

Iowa State’s latest victory was a nail-biter against UCF, where it rallied from a 28-14 deficit early in the third quarter, to win 38-35.
