During her sophomore campaign in 2023-24, she boasted solid numbers, averaging 11.5 points, 2.4 assists, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game. Playing a pivotal role in the Nittany Lions’ lineup, she earned an All-Big Ten honorable mention, starting 30 games and logging an average of 25.1 minutes per game.
Impressively, Ciezki ranked seventh in the Big Ten for total 3-pointers made, sinking 74 shots from beyond the arc at a 36.8% success rate on 5.7 attempts per game. Her shooting prowess extended to an overall field goal percentage of 42.3% and a remarkable 90.2% from the free throw line, placing her fifth in the conference among players with over 30 attempts.
Ciezki’s freshman year at Penn State in 2022-23 mirrored her sophomore success, with comparable stats across the board.
Averaging 11.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, she maintained her efficiency, shooting 41.6% from long range, ranking sixth in the Big Ten among players with over 40 attempts.
Indiana’s acquisition of Ciezki comes at a crucial time following the departure of sharpshooter Sara Scalia, who set a program record with 103 made 3-pointers in a single season. Additionally, the Hoosiers lost Mackenzie Holmes, their all-time leading scorer. However, the signing of 6-foot-3 forward Karoline Striplin from Tennessee on the same day bolsters their frontcourt presence.
With the addition of Ciezki and Striplin, the Indiana Hoosiers’ 2024-25 roster now boasts 13 players out of 15 available scholarships, including notable names like Lexus Bargesser, Sydney Parrish, and Faith Wiseman.
