How To Find The White Reed Armor Set

Elden Ring has no lack of creativity when it comes to weapons and armor for players, and the White Reed Armor Set is no exception. This is one of the most visually identifiable armor sets for anyone using the Samurai class and one you do not want to miss out on when testing various builds.

Although it’s a late-game item, the trek is worth it. You’ll also acquire some additional goodies along the dual journey to obtain the initial set and then the helm to complete the collection.

How To Reach Spiritcaller’s Cave

The White Reed Armor Set is in Spiritcaller’s Cave, located on the Mountaintops of the Giants. First, fast travel to the Freezing Lake Sight of Grace, and make your way southeast. If you haven’t reached the site of grace, travel Northeast until you discover it in relation to the attached map. The Mountaintops of the Giants is pretty late in the game, so if you haven’t unlocked it just yet, follow these steps to gain access.

Once you arrive at the cave, you will need a Stonesword Key to gain entry. If you don’t have one already, you can purchase one from the twin maiden husks at the round hole table or from most merchants scattered throughout the Lands Between.

Reaching The White Reed Armor Set

Upon entry to the Spiritcaller’s cave, rest at the sight of grace just in case you happen to have an untimely death. After resting, make your way through the tunnels, where you will stumble upon a collapsing floor. Make your way down and fight your way through the first two rooms of the cave. Upon defeating these enemies, you will be presented with a third room with a bunch of wolf summons.

From here, the choice is yours. You can either sprint past these annoyingly challenging NPCs, or you can fight through them. Either way, make your way to the back right of the room, where you will find a dead body lying down on a tree that will have the White Reed Armor Set. Unfortunately, this dead man does not possess the entire set. To retrieve the helmet to complete your White Reed Armor, head over to the bottom portion of the Mountaintops of the Giants

Retrieving The Okina Mask

In order to retrieve the Okina Mask (and the Rivers of Blood Katana), fast travel to the “Foot of the Forge” site of grace (see image below). Once you arrive, head West toward the abandoned building.

Walk around that area until the Bloody Finger Okina invades you. Upon defeating your enemy, they will drop the Okina mask to complete your set and one of the most highly coveted weapons in the game, The Rivers of Blood Katana.
