Two powerhouses in college basketball will meet up once again but this time in Seattle at the Climate Pledge Arena on December 7th (falls on a Saturday). As many are aware, John Calipari has moved on to Arkansas and Mark Pope, the former BYU head coach, has replaced him at Kentucky.
In 2022, Kentucky and Gonzaga agreed to a six-year series which includes two games at the Rupp Arena, one game in the McCarthey Athletic Center, and three neutral site games. Kentucky has lost the first two games of the series in the Spokane Arena in 2022 and in the Rupp Arena in 2024.
The Zags are 2-1 in the all-time series with the Wildcats. Here is what the 2024-2025 non-conference schedule is looking like:
Battle 4 Atlantis (Arizona, Indiana, Louisville, Creighton, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Davidson)
vs UConn (at Madison Square Garden)
at San Diego State
vs Kentucky (at Climate Pledge Arena)
vs Washington
vs UCLA (at Intuit Dome)
