Donald Trump overcame Kamala Harris’ support to become the 47th president of the United States, and as they always do, UFC fighters have reacted to the news.
Despite having a strong support system, Trump was forced to battle through much adversity–even an attempt on his life–on his way to being re-instated in the White House. After all of the trials and tribulations, the 78-year-old managed to get his foot over the line, pushing many to speak out online.
Among those discussing the election results were UFC fighters. Many who were in favor of Donald Trump’s re-election were pleased with the outcome, making their thoughts known on social media.
Former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington led the way, speaking out in support of the newly-appointed US president.
“The woke agenda is dead!” Covington said once Trump won the election. “Main stream media is dead! The American Dream is ALIVE!”
“God Bless America and God Bless the 47th president of the United States of America: Donald J. Trump!”

At the highest level the one that works harder wins. Trump simply outworked Kamala the last 6 months.

At a time when Trump needed the country’s support most, UFC fighters stepped up. We knew that there was only one person that would fight to unite the country and Make America Great Again.

Since the results were announced, Kamala Harris’ support from UFC fighters has been somewhat silent.
UFC middleweight Chris Curtis, who openly sided with Harris, has deactivated his X account to avoid backlash from fans following Trump’s reign.
One man who stuck to his guns is former UFC competitor Mike Jackson. Though he has a less than favorable reputation in the MMA world, Jackson shared his thoughts on Harris’ defeat.
“Outside of the obvious voter suppression, Amerikkka said f*** progress and democracy,” Jackson said.
“Let’s re-elect a twice impeached, grifting r**ist nazi as president. You people are sh*t and deserve what comes next.”

Others had different outlooks on the results. Some made humorous posts in the aftermath of Trump’s victory, while others made distasteful comments.
