Bam Rodriguez is widely viewed as one of the greatest pound for pound boxers in the world today. Ring Magazine currently has him listed as the #7 pound for pound boxer in the world, and TBRB currently has him listed at #6. At 24 years old, he is the highest rated pound for pound boxer in the world in his 20s, and he is the youngest boxer on either list, all of which suggests he potentially has a very bright future in boxing.
In his last fight back in June, Bam moved back up to 115 and battled lineal world champion Juan Francisco Estrada. That one was for the vacant WBC junior bantamweight belt that previously belonged to Bam. Rodriguez won the fight with a7th round knockout via a devastating body punch. Meanwhile, Guevara had his last fight back in May where he edged it out against Andrew Moloney, winning a 12 round split decision. That victory earned Guevara the mandatory spot that earned him the shot at Rodriguez.
The Rodriguez-Guevara fight will be streamed live worldwide on DAZN. Take advantage of DAZN’s ongoing Black Friday deals (valid now through November 29).
