Elite center recruit, 7-footer Xavion Staton, commits to BYU

Xavion Staton is a big-time hoops recruit, and that’s literally.

Staton, from Las Vegas, Nevada, checks in at 7-feet, 210 pounds as a senior in high school. That’s a big frame even for a top recruit, and he has the rankings to boot as well.

According to 247Sports, Staton is the No. 2 center in the 2025 class as well as the No. 23 2025 hoops recruit in the country.

That’s all great news for the BYU Cougars, because they just landed Staton’s commitment.
