In his second season, he missed 28 games, including 19 with right ankle soreness. “Through my experience and my time in dealing with these things, this is a great time for you to slow down, start to realize and pick up things that in the flow of the season that you can’t really catch because the season is so hectic,” Suggs said. “Every day is something new, so to have this time early in the season — while everybody else is pushing it and making runs — to slow down, to find rhythm, really just compact everything and lock in on mind, body and spirit … so that when he comes back — everybody else is starting to get tired — he’s fresh. “I’m excited to see how he handles this challenge,” he added. “It’s a beautiful challenge that sucks, as we talked about last night, but it’s a great opportunity for growth and I know that’s how he’s looking at it.” -via Orlando Sentinel / November 1, 2024
