Watch: Indiana star CB intercepts Washington QB twice in first half

The No. 13 Indiana Hoosiers defense got off to a hot start Saturday at home against Washington.

With its offense missing starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke to a thumb injury, the Indiana offense failed to find the end zone on its first two drives. The defense, however, had its back.

Early in the first quarter, cornerback D’Angelo Ponds sneaked through the offensive line, which allowed him to perfectly time an interception of Washington quarterback Will Rogers.

Ponds’ pick of Rogers’ attempted screen pass allowed him to take the ball 65 yards to the end zone for a touchdown, putting Indiana up 7-0 early in a critical game.
