A wild flurry from South Carolina saw the Gamecocks take a third-quarter lead over Alabama.
After the Tide jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the Saturday afternoon game, South Carolina (3-2, 1-2 in SEC) entered halftime only trailing by two after some improbable plays.
On a fourth-and-9 from Alabama’s 36-yard line with 1:43 remaining in the second quarter, South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers connected with wide receiver Mazeo Bennett Jr. for a touchdown to cut the Tide lead in half.
