As soon as you land in Nalcott, you need a weapon to fight heinous beasts. Without sufficient firepower, you’ll just be fodder for deviants.

Even if you manage to pull off the first few encounters, the Great ones will knock you down until you overpower them with stronger weapons. It’s not just about weapons, though.

Your armor set, key gear, and overall set bonuses amplify your overall damage and pollution resistance. With each region, the enemies will grow stronger, and you eventually have to face Manibus, the final boss of the scenario.
