Two days after UFC 307, Khalil Rountree Jr. has shared an image of how well his recovery has been going.

The 205er looked unrecognizable during and moments after the fight, but he seems to be healing at a steady rate.

Sharing a photo with fans on Instagram, the 34-year-old showed off how the cuts and bruises look less than 48 hours after the fight.

While it’s unclear what comes next for Rountree Jr., he truly cemented himself as one of the very best in the division.

As for Alex Pereira, aside from the potential super-fight’s in different weight classes, he has numerous possibilities for his next title defense.

Magomed Ankalaev will face Aleksandar Rakic while Jamahal Hill is pushing for a second crack at the Brazilian, leaving the champion three potential opponents for his next outing.
