Key Takeaways
- Creator of Stardew Valley open to Fortnite collab.
- Concerned Ape suggests characters, items, weapons for crossover.
- Previous Fortnite collabs with various IPs, making Stardew Valley crossover possible.
Fortnite is a juggernaut Battle Royale with so many collabs and crossovers under its belt that it’s hard to keep up. Both parties must agree to a crossover for it to occur, and it seems the creator of Stardew Valley, Concerned Ape, is up for a collaboration.
Panedwards_YT posted a snippet of a discussion between themselves and Concerned Ape.
Panedwards_YT asks if Concerned Ape would be willing to do a Fortnite crossover, to which he responds, “Yeah, I’ve been trying to. I want Pam in Fortnite; I’m open to doing a collab.”
Concerned Ape then adds that it doesn’t have to be Pam and suggests other characters, potential items, and weapons.
While the screenshot is enticing, it’s important to remember that there has been no official correspondence from Concerned Ape, nor do we know the context of the conversation.
Many Stardew Valley players would agree that Pam is undoubtedly an odd choice. Pam drives the bus in Stardew Valley, but the game has many more recognizable, fleshed-out characters.
Several posters on the Stardew Valley Subreddit have concluded that it’s satire based on Pam being mentioned before anyone else.
Could There Really Be A Fortnite x Stardew Valley Crossover?
While Stardew Valley may not fit the bill at first glance, stranger things have happened. Seriously, Stranger Things have literally happened in Fortnite.
These days, everything is fair game in Fortnite, and there have been countless collaborations with all types of Intellectual Property.
At the time of writing, a Marvel Collab is in full swing. Players can use Captain America’s shield as a weapon, and there’s a War Machine skin up for grabs, among other things.
We’ve also seen multiple Disney collabs. Star Wars, for example, brought various skins from the movies and shows. Players could also use iconic weapons at that time, including lightsabers.
Outside the action genre, there was a crossover with Family Guy in Chapter 5, Season 1 (the end of 2023), which gave players a muscular Peter Griffin skin.
There’s even a Fall Guys collab, although this one makes sense, as both are owned by Epic Games.
The point is that anything is fair game for Fortnite. Stardew Valley is a phenomenally successful indie game, likely large enough to warrant a crossover.
If this conversation indeed took place, a collab in the future could be more likely than you think.
