Coming up with ideas for dinner every day isn’t a fun process, but what could make it a lot more exciting is grabbing some tasty dishes from the world of The Legend of Zelda. If the Hyrule-inspired food already sounds familiar, that’s because its creator, Aimee Wood Works, launched her first book, The Unofficial Legend of Zelda Cookbook five years ago, but she’s back again for a second swing at it in a brand-new book that includes brand-new recipes.
Instead of running around Hyrule trying to source all the ingredients while enemies want to wipe out your existence, Zelda fans can now provide cozy comfort meals in their own kitchens and this concept seems to have excited a lot of people as The 2nd Unofficial Legend of Zelda Cookbook has already blown past its goal on Kickstarter.

Bring Hyrule Cooking Into Your Kitchen For The Second Time
The 2nd Unofficial Legend of Zelda Cookbook contains over 90 pages of tasty treats from cheese, pizza, and Akkala Buns, to soups and stews. One of the best things about this cookbook is that, regardless of where you are in the world, it comes with US and international measurements so you’re not having to constantly google how much to use, screwing up the recipe in the process. Author Aimee has also included vegan and gluten-free alternatives and has even added in new elixirs like Sticky Elixir, Sneaky Elixir, and the glowing Bright Elixir.
With Aimee’s first Legend of Zelda cookbook flying off the shelves in 2019, this Expansion Pack sequel has, unsurprisingly, cooked up a massive storm on Kickstarter and has already smashed its $4k goal by amassing a whopping $80k.
The cookbook comes in an 8 x 10-inch hardcover containing nine new chapters over 200 pages, but for backers of the book who fancy something special, the cookbook also has a stack of different variations from the Master’s edition, standard edition, and digital edition to the Collector’s Bundle and even signed copies.
“This expansion pack now has over 100 new recipes, and will have a special shiny collector’s edition due to the kickstarter’s success! Explore a whole new culinary adventure inspired by Zelda games over the last five years– Cheesemaking! Pizzas! Dark Clumps! Alongside all new Hyrulian themed elixirs, skewers, desserts, soups, and more! It’s still dangerous to cook alone… take this too?”
Fancy The 2nd Unofficial Legend of Zelda Cookbook in your own kitchen this summer? Thankfully, at present, you still have plenty of time as the Kickstarter ends in 23 days, but to help Aimee even more by allowing her to include even more in her book for future updates, you can offer support as a backer on the official website.
