ARLINGTON — Rob Matwick, the Rangers’ executive vice president of business operations, believes that food is one of the most important parts of a baseball game.
As such, Globe Life Field wants to provide fans with the best food items for baseball’s biggest event as the Rangers host the 2024 MLB All-Star Game next week.
In addition to Whataburger, Hurtado BBQ, Pluckers and all other standard food items at Globe Life Field, the Rangers and Delaware North announced a series of new food items for this year’s Midsummer Classic.
More than 20 chefs from across the country are flying to Arlington, courtesy of Delaware North, to contribute to the All-Star festivities. The most famous of the group is Yuhi Fujinaga, who oversees restaurant operations at the company’s Disney Spring location at EPCOT in Walt Disney World. Fujinaga will be making Asian poke bowls with steamed rice, ahi tuna, cucumber, mango, edamame, ginger and avocado on-site every day of All-Star weekend.
