Washington and Gonzaga’s Last Two Games Cancelled

With Mike Hopkins being let go from Washington and now being an assistant for the Phoenix Suns, Danny Sprinkle was hired to replace him. The former Utah State head coach is still getting aware of his surroundings and starting with a whole new program/roster. His team isn’t ready for the high level competition against Gonzaga just quite yet.

The Zags will have to wait to get revenge for last season’s loss at Washington, 78-73. Next two games on the contract will not be upheld.

The bigger question is who Gonzaga’s going to replace on their already impressive non-conference schedule? A lot of names are being thrown out there like Oregon, Tennessee, BYU, Houston stand out the most. Obviously all hypothetical talk. It all depends on the scheduling but a big name program needs to take Washington’s place on the stack non- con.
