Unless you have owned an alignment stick, you might not fully be aware of all the ways they can help you out. But it’s a great practice tool for improving your swing path, alignment and aim — the latter something most golfers don’t always think to check.

During a lesson I had years ago, a teacher pointed out my alignment standing over the ball was slightly off, which I never even noticed. I have since added alignment sticks to my bag, and they have been handy devices to keep me on track with routine checks here and there.

There are a ton of alignment sticks out there, but my favorites are from Hazy Sticks. They might cost a little more than your typical fiberglass options — and those are just fine, too — but I like these because, well, they are just really cool.
