Marca has dropped the market bomb, perhaps putting an end to one of the most followed negotiations at this stage of the year: Mario Hezonja has reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona, and even reports of a contract already signed by the Croatian player. Hezonja would have rejected the renewal offers proposed by Real Madrid for economic reasons: he would have wanted to have a greater weight in the team and thus receive a higher salary. For its part, Barcelona would have offered the Croatian a contract worth 3 million euros net per season, making him one of the highest paid players in Europe. -via Sportando / June 14, 2024
