An age-old build in Soulsborne games is wielding a massive weapon that swings a bit slower but can crush your enemies in just a few swings, and that trend continues in Elden Ring. Weapons of this size usually exclusively scale from your strength stat, and with it being high enough can see your character dealing thousands of damage for each hit.

Where To Find The Cranial Vessel Candlestand
In the snowy mountains in the northern part of the map, begin at the Giant’s Gravespot site of grace. From here, head west before turning west near the edge of the cliffs. Continue west until you reach a smaller peak that connects to the one you’re on, with an intact stone structure on top of it. This structure is the Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave, head inside and down the elevator to find the site of grace and the start of the dungeon.
To the right is a fog wall that requires a Stonesword Key to open; instead, turn left and head down the path. In the next room, dark shadow-like enemies will appear; run past them to find the golden rune on the floor and make the enemies walk over the rune to be able to attack them. Continue further into the dungeon until you eventually find the first fire-spewing tower. After passing this tower, head left, avoiding its flames again, and head to the top of the stairs. Take an immediate right and head up the stairs to find another fog wall that requires a Stonesword Key. Open this path and head to the back of the now-open room to find the Cranial Vessel Candlestand.
How To Use The Cranial Vessel Candlestand
The Cranial Vessel Candlestand requires 26 strength, 8 dexterity, and 22 faith to wield. This weapon scales greatly from both your strength and faith stat, dealing very high amounts of physical and fire damage. Even with its slow attack animations, this weapon is an incredible option for both strength and faith builds.
This weapon comes with the unique skill: Surge Of Faith. This skill costs 15 FP to cast and will see fireballs shooting out of the candlestand and arc in all directions around the caster. This skill does significant AOE fire damage and adds a potential magic option should your build not incorporate one. This weapon cannot be infused with an Ash Of War, but Surge Of Faith is an incredible skill you wouldn’t want to get rid of.
