Elden Ring is full of many different spells for magic users to switch between and find their favorites. Many are reminiscent of other spells from the Souls series, while many are newer ideas From Software has brought to the table to expand Elden Ring beyond their previous titles.

Elden Ring: Where To Find The Blessed Dew Talisman
Talismans can give players a massive edge over enemies in Elden Ring. Here’s where you can find the Blessed Dew Talisman.
Rock Sling is one of those new spells and doesn’t follow the usual magic formula. With it, players are given the ability to magically throw rocks at their enemies, dealing high amounts of damage as you’d expect from such a feat. Like many other spells in Elden Ring, you can find this one tucked away in the massive open world; here’s where to find it.

Where To Find Rock Sling
To find Rock Sling, make your way to the eastern section of the map. Start from either the Heart of Aoenia site of grace or the Inner Aoenia site of grace. From here, head west along the shallow lake of scarlet rot. Traverse this area on horseback to avoid scarlet rot buildup. As you travel, you pass a few giant flying bugs, indicating you’re going the right way, and you’ll eventually find some destroyed buildings among the rot.
Within these buildings will be many Servants of Rot, who alone wouldn’t be a problem, but in groups, they can combine their buildup. They shoot poison darts, which all work towards the same status bar on your character. Either take out the enemies quickly, as they don’t have much health or run past them towards the central building with a staircase downward in what was once the southeastern corner of the building. Head down the short path of stairs to a small room that has a chest with the Rock Sling spell located within.
How To Use Rock Sling
Rock Sling requires one slot to have memorized, 18 intelligence to use, and 18 FP for each cast. This spell summons rocks in front of the caster and launches them a medium distance at the targeted enemy. This attack uses gravity magic, causing the rocks to do physical damage and magic damage as opposed to just magic damage like many other spells. It launches three large rocks in the general direction of your target, which makes this spell great for crowd control. Also, each rock deals individual damage. This spell is a great alternative to have to diversify the types of damage you can do as a magic user.
Should this be a spell you enjoy using a lot, the Meteorite Staff will offer a bonus in damage for this spell as it is a gravity spell. With this spell’s larger range of effect, it can be incredibly efficient at clearing larger amounts of enemies that bunch together while riding around safely on horseback.
