Watch: Rutgers escapes as Washington misses last-second FG

College football’s Friday night slate has delivered dramatic action week in and week out this year.

Shortly after No. 7 Miami survived a controversial Hail Mary and upset bid by Virginia Tech, Rutgers was hoping to escape with a win at home against Washington.

The Scarlet Knights led handily for most of the game, taking a 14-3 lead to halftime and holding onto a 21-10 margin late in the fourth quarter.

But the Huskies attempted to make a surging comeback with just minutes to play, scoring a touchdown and a two-point conversion to get within a field goal.
