Ladies and gentlemen, we have our first major upset in the SEC. The Kentucky Wildcats beat No. 6 Mississippi 20-17 just two weeks after nearly beating No. 2 Georgia at home.
The win is Kentucky’s second against a top-10 opponent on the road since 1980 and its highest-ranked road win since 1977, according to ESPN.
Mississippi had a chance to tie the game late, but kicker Caden Davis missed the potential game-tying field goal wide left.
