Remnant 2’s Dark Horizon DLC introduces exciting new challenges and rewards for players daring enough to explore it. Among the items are the Bypass Primer and Burden of the Protector rings, both of which can be located in the Stagnant Manufactory region of N’Erud.
However, acquiring the rings isn’t a straightforward task; it involves navigating a treacherous Stealth Maze filled with patrolling bots and alarms.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through the essential steps to secure the rings on your first attempt, share invaluable tips and tricks to complete the stealth event, and provide an overview of the unique abilities each ring offers!
How To Get Burden of the Protector & Bypass Primer | The Dark Horizon DLC
The Bypass Primer and Burden of the Protector rings can be found in N’Erud, specifically within the Stagnant Manufactory region (Security Lab). However, its acquisition is linked to the “Stealth Maze injectable,” — You’ll have to reset until you get it on your run/s.
Keep in mind that you’ll have to complete the Stealth Maze on your first run/try, or else you won’t be able to get the Burden of the Protector. If you fail, you’ll have to reroll adventure and try again!
Tips & Tricks to Complete Stealth Event on the 1st Try
The Stealth event, located in a fog-filled area with patrolling bots, requires precise movement and careful planning to avoid triggering alarms. If an alarm is activated, a secondary door closes, potentially locking players out of significant rewards—at least for that run.
- Turn off your flashlight and use the Hunter’s Shroud skill to make it easier!
- If you get caught, just dashboard as soon as you do and try again instead of having to reroll. This tip can save players time by preventing them from having to reset their entire run if they make a mistake.
- You can use the Way of Kaeula in the area. It can kill two of the bots without triggering the security protocol.
Burden of the Protector & Bypass Primer Overview
The Bypass Primer ring offers an exceptional utility for players with swift reflexes. It’ll reward you with an automatic reload of their firearm upon executing a Perfect Dodge. This effect emphasizes a gameplay style based on agility and precision, giving players the chance to maintain their firepower without the downtime of reloading manually.
Meanwhile, the Burden of the Protector provides the player with more shield in exchange for a shorter shield duration. Unlike the Bypass Primer, it’s more fitted for players whose role is to dish out damage and tank incoming projectiles and attacks.
