Jamal Crawford on Lob City Clippers: “Honestly, I think we were one of the best teams to never win a championship. We had so much talent. We won the second-most games over a five-year span behind maybe the Spurs or Warriors—one of the other at that time period. So we were like, ‘We’re going to win a championship.’ We had everything. If you look at the roster, bro—go back and look at those rosters. And then Doc, who had just won a championship in ’08, we had everything, every piece. And it was just like, ‘Man, why couldn’t we get over the hump?’ That part is frustrating when you look back at it. But I wouldn’t trade it for nothing. Everywhere I go, from coaching or whatever, people always identify me with the Lob City Clippers. Straight up. It put my game on full display.”
