Ipswich Town extended their unbeaten Premier League run to four games with a hard-fought 2-2 draw at home against Aston Villa.
Liam Delap opened the scoring for the hosts, before Villa hit back in the first half with goals from Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins. Delap was on hand to score his second, though, and that proved to be enough to earn a point for his side.
Delap is the first Ipswich player to score a brace in a Premier League match since Marcus Bent in March 2002 (vs Newcastle United) and the youngest to do so in the competition for the Tractor Boys (21y 234d).
It’s now four draws in a row for Kieran McKenna’s men; the Tractor Boys last drew more games in a row back in February and March 2017 in the Championship (six). In the Premier League, they last had a longer run of draws in August and September 1992 (five).
Villa remain just outside the top four on goal difference.
