This remake is the pinnacle of Snake Eater, with all its details finally appreciated in full HD.
Watching KGB cowboy Ocelot go through his gunslinging routine with his standard-issue Makarov pistol is hypnotic, and the feeling translates to the rest of the trailer. The scars on GRU Colonel Volgin have a gnarly depth now.
The Tokyo Game Show preview also offers the first look at Eva, stunning as ever in an olive jumpsuit with old-school pilot goggles around her neck.
Previous looks into Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater show movement mechanics similar to those found in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015).
